- We are hoping that sometime during the week of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, April 22 we can launch the online version of the Wolf Journey Earth Conservation Course revealing each field experience on daily broadcasts, but only if we get to 1,000 subscribers on YouTube which is the number they require for live streaming from phones in the field. We’ll keep broadcasting to our Wolf Camp Facebook page as a back-up, but will end broadcasts to Chris’ personal facebook page when YouTube subscriptions reach the 1,000 needed.
Announcements & Reminders:
– If you have time on your hands and you feel you’re not in a high risk group, see if your fire station, hospital, social service organization or other essential facility has a suggestion on how you can can get trained to support them. Staple businesses like grocery stores may even be hiring.
– If you still have an income or extra money, see if or when your fire station, hospital or other essential facility would appreciate delivery of a take-out order for one of their meals – it’s a great way to support small businesses too. Don’t forget essential non-profits which also need to keep people employed, and your favorite performing artists and venues which have little chance for income at this time.
– We believe that going outside is the healthiest way to maintain happiness while social distancing, where virus concentrations dissipate in the fresh air and can even get killed by extended exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays. It’s where the sun helps us produce Vitamin D, keeping us happy and well. Gardening, in particular, is a great way to stay healthy, and if things get sparse, one of the best ways to increase food security.
