• June 24-28, 2019 The Wilderness Skills Sampler
• July 1-3, 2019 The Advanced Skills Sampler

Camp includes optional wading/swimming and games/archery during lunchtime, depending on park rules, camper safety tests, weather and other conditions. Special family classes also take place July 1-5 for all ages, or choose our other day camp options.

Also consider our Family Wilderness Classes and Independence Day Fun-Run talking place simultaneously this week. The itinerary for the Advanced Skills Sampler this week includes a taste of Advanced Day Camps taking place later in August.

Monday: Experience an introduction to Advanced Scouts in the morning, including how intense its workouts, philosophy and games can be. In the afternoon, check out what Advanced Tracking is like, including an introduction to our ongoing animal den survey, hiking out to where bears spent the winter.
Tuesday: Hike in the morning to where Advanced Survival participants will create their survival camp at the end of the summer, preparing the site for debris huts and more. In the afternoon, continue with the advanced survival prep with a group fire-making challenge.
Wednesday: In the morning, get a literal taste of Advanced Herbology, and in the afternoon, experience an introduction to the unique Advanced Artisan.

Note that itineraries are subject to some amount of change based upon location, weather, instructor preference, and natural resource availability.
