July 1-3, 2024 School’s out FLOW Camp at Lake Sammamish (Please click here for the 2023 Lake Sammamish Day Camp Schedule)

FLOW = WOLF Spelled Backwards!

This is the first year of our new FLOW Camp, giving kids an opportunity to have a safe environment to be completely outdoors, just like in the olden days. FLOW Camp is designed to give children a break from the routine of school, and to let go of their built-up energy.

On Monday, campers will spend the day in their own age group with their principle camp counselor, visiting stations including the meditation tree, natural music composition, yoga and free form dancing, improvisational theater, nature crafts, wildlife walks, campfire cooking, archery/at-latl/rabbitstick, workout station and more. At the end of the day, campers can sign up for the stations where they want to spend time the following morning and afternoon.

On subsequent mornings, campers will start the day in a big circle with camp directors Kim & Chris Chisholm where they will break into their station groups and spend the morning. Lunch will be spent with their principle camp counselor before proceeding to the station where they chose to spend the afternoon.

On Friday, campers will prepare for an afternoon presentation at the station they most enjoyed, such as a final theatrical or musical performance, guided nature walk, archery/at-latl/rabbitstick tournament, campfire food and medicine discussion, yoga or dance routine, and more.

Returning from past years? Check out the Advanced FLOW Camp also in its 1st year, open to ages 8-12 who have attended at least one prior camp with us.
