10 Minutes Before Class: Please arrive early in order to complete any registration information, view recommended books, and answer questions.
15-20 Minutes - Stinging nettle: We'll learn how to harvest and eat stinging nettle, use it as medicine and make it into rope that you can use to fashion a gift for yourself or a friend.
15-20 Minutes - Rose Hips: Jam packed with more vitamin C than an orange, we'll process rose hips into a yummy tea and tasty treats that will help keep you healthy through the winter.
15-20 Minutes - Cattail: We'll explore the many gifts cattails give us and use them to make a gift for others.
15-20 Minutes - Acorn: After processing some nuts and learning the history of acorns, we'll mix up some acorn pancake batter. While our pancakes are cooking, we'll sing the Acorn Song (a Wolf Camper favorite) then enjoy our nutty creation with our tea.
20-40 Minutes - Pine/Fir: We'll head out to harvest some needles and boughs then return to learn the "real" reason pine trees stay green all year long. Pine trees also offer many edible and medicinal gifts that we'll enjoy. And finally, we'll create holiday wreaths for you to take home and use to decorate your room or give as a gift.
10 Minutes After Class - Feedback & Planning: Please join Chris & Kim after class to review experiences, browse resources, discuss feedback, and brainstorm ideas for the future. Email or Call us at any time with any questions and requests.
